Two words. Start Moving.

Being active can significantly improve your physical, mental, and social health.

Regular physical activity at any age can help prevent or improve chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and depression.

It can also improve the strength of your bones and muscles, increase your energy, reduce your blood pressure, prevent falls, improve your sleep, and improve your memory.

You can start small by taking walks around your house or walks around your neighborhood and progress the speed or length of your walks. Work your way of to 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise daily (during your exercise you would describe it as "somewhat hard") and you will be well on your way toward optimizing your health.*

Be sure to get clearance from your physician before starting an exercise program or contact a physical therapist near you to help you get started*.

Happy Moving!
